driving time, but said "compelling scientific evidence" is needed
to support the move.
FMCSA determined that the economic benefits of the current 11-hour

Many suits have
been brought in United States courts as a result of sun
glare obliterating traffic control devices or oncoming
vehicles or pedestrians from view. Multiple terms have
been used to describe this situation, including disability glare,
veiling glare, sun blindness, and sun dazzle. The
effect is to 'wash out' the image on the retina with a bright,
overwhelmingly dominant spot or pattern. Evaluation of
sun glare requires factoring in latitude and longitude, road
direction, weather...

well aware of. The smallest mistake can cause the biggest accident
and sometimes may even cause a life. For most i see on a daily take
a pause at a stop sign but not a complete stop. To most that may
not be a big issue however to some it may become the biggest
memory.
There are different ways to approach a stop sign. When there
are
stop signs at all corners, stop first;
then yield to vehicles already in the intersection or just...

We are a society obsessed by age. When you are
growing up, you want to be older. When you are a kid,
you want to be older so you can drive. When you are a
teen, you want to be an adult so adults will treat you like one, so
you can move out, vote or have your
own money. When you are an adult, you wish you
were younger and had the youth. You wish you had the figure
or the freedom younger people have. Sometimes when you
are older, you want to be younger so you can drive as
well.

Over the past couple of weeks, Texas has had a large number of
fires, as it has been a long hot and dry summer.
As I was driving into work the other day, the traffic report on the
radio mentioned that a fairly busy road north of us was closed, not
due to fire, but due to smoke.
You really do not hear that every day, but it makes
sense. As discussed in our
online driver
safety course, the most dangerous driving condition is not
rain, its not snow, its not night time, it is fog.
Smoke has...

a multitasking society. This is something that’s become even more
true as we go through the smart phone revolution because now most
of us carry around a computer in our pockets at all times. This has
given us the ability to do things on the go that would have seemed
unimaginable just a few years ago.
All of these factors can make it seem like driving during...

When driving, you of course want to keep an eye on other drivers
but there is a potential for other obstacles that you should be on
the lookout for. It’s common for there to be chunks of a blown tire
or a piece of a fallen bumper right in the middle of a busy
interstate. As a driver, you need to see these obstacles with
enough time to avoid them.
If you’re not paying attention, then you may not notice until
you’re just upon them and you’ll react quickly, but that can be
dangerous. If you jerk the...
